Eric Ray

What plans could God possibly have for a man born in the projects of Chicago (yes, he is a Bears Fan also), where the street life is what he started to learn? Eric JaJuan Ray is the eldest of 3 children born to his mother, Clara Epps-Island. His father, Eric Allen Ray, passed away early in his life and he never got the opportunity to meet him. When Eric was 15 years old, his mother moved her children to Massillon to get them away from the streets of Chicago to be with her family.

Eric was introduced to Jesus as a young boy by his grandmother, Emma Jean Kelly. He joined Mount Calvary in Massillon as a young adult and was baptized there. In 2012 he joined The Jesus Spot and rededicated his life to Jesus, which is his current church home under the guidance of Pastor Robert Williams. He also met his wife, Christina at The Jesus Spot in 2012 and they were married there in 2016. Together they share 8 children and 5 grandchildren.

In 2016 God called on Eric to make a major change in his life, sobriety. So, what plans could God have for a man born in the projects of Chicago? In 2017 Eric heard his calling for ministry, for Eric to bring the Word of God to all that will listen. Eric is now a Minister, homeowner, business owner of Rays Reconditioning, and so much more. These are all things Eric didn’t think possible, but with God, ALL things are possible
